He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Sime and Margaret Sime (Hackett); his daughter Ahlica; and his brothers, John and Melvin.
He is survived by: his son Dennis of St. Paul, MN; his grandchildren, LeAnn and Ahlica; his wife Jacqueline Sime of Chokio; and his daughter LeAnn of Redwood Falls, MN. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 5 sisters; several sisters and brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
