She was predeceased by: her parents, George and Klinkhammer; her husband Francis "Fritz" Schmidt; and her sisters, Phoebe Crissey and Mary Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Schmidt (DiAnn) of Arvada, CO, Carol Willard (Charles) of Houston, TX, Jan Swanson (John), Steve Schmidt of Holland, MI, Ron Schmidt (Michelle) of Crosslake, Larry Schmidt (Cathy) of Lino Lakes, Linda Bachman (Jim) of South St and Darlene Schmidt-Eaton (Mike) of Rosemount. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many step-grandchildren.
