She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Podtburg and Louise Elizabeth Podtburg (Buntje); her husband Sheridan Halbe; her siblings, Harvey, Lloyd, Lewis (Lester Podtburg) and Louise Anderson (Mercida Blaskowski); and her brother-in-law Philip Halbe (Leona).
She is survived by: her children, James Halbe (Cathi) of Morris and Jane Swenson (Larry) of Morris; her grandchildren, Tara Beck (Steven) of Fargo, Kristen Martin (Max) of Morris and Taylor Whiting (Joshua) of Alexandria; her great grandchildren, Ellery Beck, Greta Martin, Lyla Whiting, Miles Beck, Owen Martin and Millie Whiting; her sister Viola Sperr (Arland) of Cokato; and her sister-in-law Olga Podtburg of Princeton. She is also survived by her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
