He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Donkers and Bernadette Donkers (McDaniel); his sister Penny Bailey; his brother-in-law Ron Bailey; and his brother Peter Donkers.
He is survived by: his sisters, Pam Grady (Dennis) of Canton, OH, Debby Todd (John) of Burnsville, Diane Abeln (Matt) of Lakeville, Paula Matthews (Kent) of Moose Lake and Jennifer Kaufman (Mark Warweg) of Farmington; and his aunt Jane Donkers of Red Wing. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given in John's name to the Steven's County DAC, 203 Green River Road, Morris, MN 56267.
