It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Berres (Morris, Minnesota), who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Berres and Alice Berres (Domeier); his siblings, Ann, Elizabeth Berres, Tom and Jimmy Berres; and his in-laws, Nils and Cleone Brustuen.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Brustuen of Alberta; his children, Michael Berres (Hayley) of Beaverton, OR, Elizabeth Hardesty (Christopher) of Eden Prairie and David Berres (Sarah) of Delano; his grandchildren, Micah, Gabrielle and Mackenzie Berres; his children, Ethan, Grayson, Adelyn Hardesty, Brantley and Joie Berres; his siblings, Robert J. Berres, Jr. (Judi) of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Mills (Skip) of Omaha, NE and Margaret Asby (Tom) of Spring Park, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Deb Berres of Rosemount, MN, Barbara Beck (Bob), Eldon Brustuen (Sharon), Melody Veenendaal (Rodger), Kevin Brustuen (Gretchen), Keith Brustuen (Sheila) and Emilie Brustuen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
