He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Weiss and Carolena Weiss (Kaehler); his wife Ruth Amundson; his grandson Eric John Lindquist; and his siblings, Robert, Albert, Elmer, Vernon Weiss, Lela Holmgren and Ellen "Tootie" Simonson.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Weiss of Sartell, Sandra Lindquist (Rod) of Sartell, Dale Weiss (Donna) of Mount Juliet, TN and Dan Weiss (Lisa) of Willmar; his grandchildren, Erica Rademacher (Chad), Tanya Lindquist-Fleegel (Bryan), Nina Lemke (Tom), Matthew Weiss and Meghan Weiss; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Cam, Brooks Rademacher, Jack Fleegel and Peyton Lemke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
