He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Hallauer and Ella Hallauer (Fuerstenau); his daughter Mary; and his brothers, Lyle and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his uncle Arthur Fuerstenau; his daughters, Barbara Breth, Janice Davis (Barry), Karen Johannes (David) of Eau Claire, WI, Linda Hallauer, Sandra Hulke (Kevin) of Eau Claire, WI and Deborah Pansch (Gary) of Harwood, ND; and his grandchildren, Andrea Payne (Richard), Kyle Hulke, Deana Pfeiffer (David), Laura Wales (Eli), Daniel Johannes, Michelle Arredondo (Ricardo), Amanda Hestekin (Chad), Noelle Aalgaard (Andrew), Jonathan Davis, Jordan Pansch (Elizabeth), Alyssa Johannes, Karie Davis, Michael LaCoursiere, Hannah Graff (Justin), Charles Davis and Emily Johannes. He is also survived by seven daughters, sixteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
