It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delbert Raymond Hummel of Morris, Minnesota, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Barb Byers; his siblings, Darlene Haring (Lloyd), Elvera Kohlnhofer (Vic), Beverly Zinter (David) and Glenn; and also, Roy, Irene Bisping and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Christine; his siblings, Gene "Butch" Hummel (Evie Farr), Annie Hummel, Diane Bisping and Marnie Glessing (Neal); his children, Ray Hummel (Joyce), Bernie Hayes (Bob), TJ Hopkins (Kay), Tad Hopkins (Kirstin), Trevor Hopkins (Athena Aitken) and Shandi Zelinske (Tom); his grandchildren, Chad Hummel (Steph), Amy Hummel, Leah, Ben, Luke, Kinsley, Taylor and Theo Hopkins; his great grandchildren, Kylie (Trevor), Mariah (Matt), Emilee and Makenzee; and his great great grandchildren, Kaysen and Aubree.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (108 W 8th St, Morris, MN 56267). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
