We bid farewell to Darrel Bliss of Morris, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 3, 2025 at the age of 72. Darrel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bliss and Glendor Bliss (Pearson). He is survived by: his wife Eileen Bliss of Morris; his children, Jennifer Schuler (Scott) of Clarkfield, Matthew Bliss (Victoria) of Porter and Michael Bliss (Rachel) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Abby, Bailey, Stella, Lucas, Eleanor and Walter; his siblings, Bonnie Frederickson (Karl) of Heron Lake, Lowell Bliss (Gayle) of Montevideo, Roger Bliss (Deb) of Canby and Ellen Thompson (Tom) of Springfield, OH; and his uncle Charles Pearson of Canby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pedersen Funeral Home (101 S Atlantic Ave, Morris, MN 56267). A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church (858 5th St, Hancock, MN 56244).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Hancock or the American Heart Association.
