He was predeceased by: his parents, George Taffe and Nellie Taffe (McAloon); his former wife Joyce Eisenmenger; his siblings, John Taffe (Teresa), Tom Taffe (Joy), Dick Taffe (Alice), Vincent "Bud" Taffe (Libby) and Jean Buller (Norbert); and his brother-in-law Vince McGraw.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Halbakken Taffe of Morris; his children, Chuck Taffe (Barb) of Hastings, Dave Taffe (Brenda) of Aberdeen, SD, Jerry Taffe (Jane) of Maple Grove, Dennis Taffe (Nancy) of Morris, Marilyn Beyer (Tim) of Holloway, Gail Hill of Egg Harbor, WI and Sandy Kopel (Ron) of Glenwood; his grandchildren, Jeff Taffe (Jenni), Jamie Thorn (Paul), Ross Kopel (Emily Haynes), Kirk Kopel, Adam Waage (Ryanne), Trent Waage (Cecilia), Abby Trettin (Tony), Matt Taffe (Dyani), Michael Taffe, Sara Taffe, Tera Kleespie (Nate), Molly Haan (Brian) and Kaley Lundin (Matt); his great grandchildren, Walker, Georgia Taffe, Louie, Veda Thorn, McKenna, Weston Kopel, Kogan, Taylen, Harper, Langston Waage, Brayden Dozier, Anniston Taffe, Maecy, Jax, Leo, Milo Kleespie, Emmett and Keira Haan; and his sisters, Helen Taffe of Richfield and Marie McGraw of Richfield.
