He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Bright and Mary Bright (Seigfreid); his wife Phyllis Bright; his son Daryl Bright; and his siblings, Wayne "Pete" Bright, Mary Jane Thompson, Dorothy Thompson and Beulah Paulson.
He is survived by: his children, Carlos Bright (Cheryl) and Peggy Christensen (Lyle); his grandchildren, Todd Bright (Heidi), Peter Bright (Melissa), Ryan Bright (Missy), Bryan Simon (Jessie), Michael Simon, Ann Reppe (Tom) and Blair Christensen (Lexi); and his sister-in-law Muriel Bright. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
