She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Bresson and Kunda Gunda Bresson (Bertamus); her husband Jim; her children, Vicki and Tom; her grandson Jacob Van Kempen; and her siblings, Nick Bresson, Florence Loher, Madeline Breckenridge, Cunda Wanningman and Alpha Reed (Tootie).
She is survived by: her children, Steve Van Kempen (Jill) of Morris, MN, Judy Soderholm (Steve) of Alexandria, MN, Jane Murphy (Mark) of Glenwood, MN, Lulu Angrimson (Dewey) of Lindstrom, MN, Nancy Weiler (Jim) of Morris, MN, Mary Nilsen (Per) of Mendota Heights, MN and John Van Kempen (Chris) of Elbow Lake, MN; and her sister Bernice Riley of Morris, MN. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Stevens County Historical Museum, Morris in her memory.
