He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Plotz and Bertha Plotz (Bruckbauer); his brother Ray Plotz (Audrey); his parents-in-law, Marge Beert, Audrey Plotz, Ordell Grosam and Leo Prokosch; and his great grandchild Charlotte Jonas.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Grosam; his children, Susan Bornick (Tom) of Fall Creek, WI, Linda Pederson (Jay) of Richmond, Joleen Koopman of Sauk Rapids, Alan Plotz (Rosann) of Clements and Stacy Brzezinski (Brian) of Fort Ripley; his grandchildren, Cassie Jonas (Jason), Andy Plotz (Brooke), Meghan, Anna Plotz, Jeff Bornick, Katie Smith (Jake), Kyle (Mandi), Mark (Steph), John, Scott, Clare, Nate Pederson, Ally and Lindsey Brzezinski; his siblings, Leona Prokosch of Redwood Falls and Irvin Plotz (Donna) of Clements; and also Jay Baune (Tami). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Raphael's Catholic School in Springfield, MN.
