It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome R. Mathiowetz of Morgan, Minnesota, born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, who passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Loren "Lonnie"; and his parents, Raymond Mathiowetz and Frances Mathiowetz (Reiner). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mans of Mary's Catholic Church; his son Greg (Lisa) of Cody, WY; his sisters, Janet McCauley of Minneapolis and Phyllis Wenner (Kenneth) of Nicollet; his granddaughter Kyra; his nieces and nephews, Lucas, Kyle Mathiowetz, Julie Berge (Erik) and Colleen Jensen (Shane); and his former wife Lynette Hauser.
