He was predeceased by: his wife Eunice; and his parents, Ernest Gluth and Margaret Gluth. He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Hansen (Todd), Lisa Madsen (Jeff) and Lynn Madsen (Mark) of Morgan; his grandchildren, Samantha Tighe (Darren), Megan Larsen (Tom), Alex Madsen (Elizabeth), Scott Madsen (Jenny), Alan Madsen (Elizabeth) and Allison Madsen (Octavio Cortes); his great grandchildren, Adeline, Eli, Piper Tighe, Evelyn, Nora, Max Larsen, Wesley, Bennett Madsen, Aliza, Preston Madsen, Blakely, Tucker, Brody Madsen, Alexander and William Cortes; his stepgrandchildren, Tessa Engler, Hannah Christianson, Chloe Hansen and Cayden Hansen; his stepgreat-grandson Emmett Engler; and his siblings, Diane Gluth of Osceola, WI., Virgil, Howard, Mary Leopold, Margaret Johnson Kamolz, Norma Gluth and June Gluth.
A prayer was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home (75 S Somerville St, Morgan, MN 56266). Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (510 3rd St, Morgan, MN 56266).
