He was predeceased by: his wife Marlys; and his brothers, Ben (Alvina), Matt (Verna), Felix (Lilian), Cy (Judy), Fritz (Judy), David and Leonard (Sally).
He is survived by: his sister Adeline Braulick of Sleepy Eye; and his siblings-in-law, Marietta Ludewig of Sleepy Eye and Allan Hammerschmidt (Mary Jane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (510 3rd St, Morgan, MN 56266). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the St. Anne's Cemetery.
