He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hacker and Anna Hacker (Reding); his son-in-law Kenneth Kalkhoff; his grandchild-in-law Kaitlin Jacobsen; and his siblings, Clem Hacker, Allan Hacker, Irene Wintheiser (Art) and Doris Rehder.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Roiger; his children, Mark Hacker (Marilyn) of Marshall, Denise Kalkhoff (Edwin Steffl) of Morgan, Douglas Hacker (Jo Anne) of Ellendale, Jerry Hacker (Shirley) of Ortonville, Lisa Jacobsen (Curt) of Garrison and Chris Hacker (Lori) of Morgan; and his sisters-in-law, Lucille Hacker of Morgan and Ruth Hacker of Morgan. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
