She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hoffmann and Mary Hoffmann; her siblings, John and Margaret; her husbands, Richard Haechrel and John Schmidt; and her children, Carolyn, Loren and Michael.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Hadley (Gary), Robert (Sandy), JoAnne Hall, Annette Huth, Charlotte Schneider (Patrick), Teresa Morton, Virginia Waldriff (Duane), Paul (Denise), Myron (Denise) and David.
