He was predeceased by: his father Stanley Roatch; and his grandparents, Thomas and Sadie Roatch. He is survived by: his mother Beatrice Roatch; and his siblings, Wanda, Larry, Ronnie, Robert and Mike. He is also survived by 10 nephews, 6 nieces and a large extended family & friends.

“I had the immense privilege to work with Wayne. There are many lessons in life and we had so many conversations that would end on laughter at something outrageous he said. He and I would chat, bicker discuss goals, worry about his health and he didn't give up. There tears many times with his diagnosis, anger at it all as so scary. He loved auctions Larry and could fix so many things. We talked about lawn mowers., his fishing, food, work, life and loss. The school he was assigned to loved him.”
