He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Sundstrom and Gerald Sundstrom. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Sundstrom; his children, Tracy Sundstrom (Bradley Keely) and Chad Sundstrom (Xuan); his stepson Clinton Welling; his grandchildren, Ella and Claire Sundstrom; and his sister Susan Monihan. He is also survived by her children as well as many cousins and friends.
