Merna June Dusenbury Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merna June Dusenbury of Mora, Minnesota, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Herbert R.; her husband Harold; and her siblings, Evelyn Moore, Derrel Swearingen, Grace Arlene Harcourt, Martha Mitchell and Verl Swearingen.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Dusenbury (Faith Shattuck), Linda Anderson (Bruce) and Jean Ryan (James); her grandchildren, Matthew Anderson, Megan Podrez (Brian), Sarah Hallstrom (Kristor), Amanda Kernats (Bill Rawski), Rachel Daniels (Shane) and Mark Anderson (Abby); and her great grandchildren, Addilynn, Evianna, Connor Hallstrom, Austin Podrez, Loreli, Gabriella, Elijah Daniels, Marley Rawski, Ezra and Micah Anderson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Community Church (N2620 Harris Rd, Williams Bay, WI 53191). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Merna is now Home in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, set free from the ravages of Alzheimer's. Merna grew up in Indiana where she graduated from Hagerstown High School and attended Medical Business College in Elkhart.
