With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Persson (Mora, Minnesota), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on June 27, 2018 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Jamie Lee Persson. He is survived by: his wife Lou; his children, Scott (Becky), Kurtiss (Lori), Daniel (Cindy), Robyn (Cindy) and Melissa Whiting (Todd); and his siblings, Margaret Taylor and Dennis Persson (Pat). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, cousins and many loving friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Calvary Lutheran Church in honor of Mel.
