She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond L Smolik; her great-grandparents, Joseph Kapaun and Anna Schmidt Kapaun; her grandparents, Julius Wellington and Emma Kapaum Wellington; her parents, Louis Arnold Probst and Alice Wellington Probst; and her siblings, Agnes Probst, Ruth Van Keuren, Gertrude Eberle, Wallace Probst, Warren Probst, Evelyn Gorton, Marvin Probst, Donna Freeburg and Lawrence Probst.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Smolik (Sofie), Lola Michalak Dreyfuss (Daniel), Wendy Pierzina and Roger Smolik (Gaby); and her grandchildren, Lucas, Jessica, Sarah, Lena, Jocelyn, Michael, Dakota and Madison. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
