He is survived by: his wife Jan (Gilbertson); his siblings, Donna Herdman of Parkers Prairie, MN, Leo Elvehjem (Helen) of Glenwood, MN, Sharon Jergenson (Joel) of Willmar, MN, Ken Elvehjem (Kay) of Lowry, MN and Joyce Elvehjem (Ron) of Old Harbor, AK; and his children, Ethan Elvehjem (Krista) of Mora, MN, Matt Elvehjem (Tressa) of Denver, CO and Lara Derksen (Troy) of Corinth, TX. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
