She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Zimpel and Sigrid Zimpel; her husband Gus Herwig; and her siblings, Ivan, Clarence, Robert, Bertha and Elva.
She is survived by: her sons, Rod (Carla) and Kevin (Barb); her grandchildren, Stacy (Corey), Shannon (Steve) and Adam; her great grandchildren, Gavin, Lauren, Aiden and Lincoln; her stepgrandchildren, Derek (Lisa) and Nina (Michael); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Devin, Nikki, Megan and Missy; and her sister Marlene Van Hale (Keith). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
