He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Eggert and Sedona Eggert (Ziemer); his spouse Unita "Nita" Eggert (Mansmith); and his siblings, Arthur, Alvin, Herman, Erna and Alice Runge.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Barnick (Loren) of Mora, MN, Candice Eggert of Ramsey, MN, Rebecca Parenty (Patrick) and Annette LaBonne (Joseph) of Ramsey, MN; and his sister-in-law Betty Eggert. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
