He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Maack and Carolyn Maack (Nelson); and his brother Lee Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Heather Maack of Moose Lake; his children, Brittani Hedtke (Theran) of Superior, WI and Jedidiah Maack; his grandchildren, Gibson Maack and Rosalyn Hedtke of Superior, WI; his siblings, Amy Petersen of Webster, WI, Jennifer Lehman (Kevin) of Cushing, WI, Elsa Thompson (Tom) of Luck, WI, Seth Maack of Luck, WI, Ben Maack (Jaclyn) of Forest Lake, Teresa Humble (Brian) of North Branch and Dawn Maack-Perry of New Jersey; his stepparents, Dave Maack of Harris and Sue Maack of New Jersey; and his sister-in-law Jackie Thompson of Brooklyn Center. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
