She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Hattenberger and Victoria Hattenberger (Jurek); her husband Ambrose Filipiak; her brothers, Adrian Hattenberger, Vern Hattenberger (Gloria) and Leander Hattenberger (Albena); her brothers-in-law, Florian Filipiak (Lucy Filipiak Fabeck) and Ed Filipiak (Betty); and her sons-in-law, Richard Fadness and Duane K. Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, David Filipiak (Karen), Monica Fadness, Annette Johnson, Robert Filipiak (Cynthia) and Kenneth Filipiak (Kim); her grandchildren, Jessica, Miranda Fadness, Amber, Michael Shaw, Lindsey Filipiak (Rob Bender) and Twila Filipiak; her great grandchildren, Zoe and Vylet Bender; her stepgrandchildren, Nichole Reimer (Juan) and Jeremy Wuori (Jaime); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jack Skelton, Jake Reimer, Mikko and Onni Wuori; her sister Stasia; her brother-in-law Adrian Filipiak; her brother Val Hattenberger; and her sister-in-law Lois Hattenberger. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
