He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hammitt and Goldie Hammitt (Paulson). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Tschida; his sons, Josh Hammitt (Haley) and Jake Hammitt (Terra Ojard); his siblings, Curtis, Roger Hammitt and Ardis Williams; his grandchildren, Beau, Aubrey and Kylli; and his pet Mouse Cop.
