She was predeceased by: her parents, Pius Reis and Juliana Reis (Schmidt); her husband Karl Schatz; her son Blaine Schatz; her siblings, Helen Wickenheiser (Pete), Teresa Dutt (Jack), Clara Schweitzer, Magdalena Leier, Eva Huber (Tony), Sebastian Reis and Pius Reis, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Colleen Schatz; and her sister-in-law Rose Reis.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda Schatz, Dean Schatz, Don Schatz (Dawn), DeAnn Schatz, Kenny Schatz (Dawn), Kurt Schatz and Kevin Schatz (Bobbi); her siblings, Barbara Wald (Victor), Alvera Leier (Tony), Angie Geiger (Ed) and Pete Reis; her siblings-in-law, Lorraine Reis, Johnny Schweitzer and Al Leier; and her daughter-in-law Jodi Schatz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
