She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Hietala and Oscar Hietala; her husband Arne (Arne) of Cedar Valley; and her brother Alvin. She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Doty (Dan), Wesley Santa (Jackie) and Gregg (Astrid); her grandchildren, Johanna Solem, Karl Doty (Liesl) of Potsdam, NY, John Santa (Rikki Jo), Erik Santa (Blaine) and Emma Santa of Madison, WI; her great grandchildren, Pekka and Mikko Doty of Potsdam, NY; her siblings, John Hietala (Marilyn), Joyce Ilola and Edie Johnson (Rick); and her cousin Mary Sorensen. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
