He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Fisher and Opal Fisher (Rusley); his former wife Jean E. Torkelson of Melrose, WI.; his siblings, Delmar, Karen and Donna; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Fisher and Robert White.
He is survived by: his wife Mavis Lysaker; his daughters, Kari Sundberg (Ove), Kirsten Fisher and Stephanie Heiberg (Jay Anderson); his grandchildren, Marit Woulfe (Sean), Erik Sundberg (Eva), Anders Sundberg, Karl, Victoria and Christian Heiberg; his great grandchildren, Henryk and Carver Woulfe; and his children, Randi, Susan, Karl and Maria. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wright Funeral Home and Cremation Service-Moorhead (605 2nd Ave S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A prayer was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (605 2nd Ave S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - Moorhead (210 7th St S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A burial will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the North Beaver Creek Lutheran Cemetery (W10767 County Rd C, Blair, WI 54627).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Red Willow Bible Camp Binford, ND or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
