She was predeceased by: her parents, Almer Gedstad and Inez Gedstad (Magnus); her husband Bing Rood; her brother Spencer Gedestad (Patty); and her grandmother Nellie Magnus (Haatvedt).
She is survived by: her nephews, Stephen (Kris), Douglas (Kathy) and Dennis; and her niece Susan Gedestad. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
