Sylvia left this world on January 6, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Sylvia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sylvia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Reitz; and her parents, William Jackson and Mary Jackson. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Pieri (Dave); and her stepchildren, Kevin Reitz and Bobbie Krag (Bob). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Korsmo Funeral Service (409 8th St S, Moorhead, MN 56561). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials are to be directed to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
