He was predeceased by: his parents, Gorden Stenerson and Juliette Stenerson (Ostby); his wife Georgiann Nelson; his son-in-law Grable Chaffins; and his grandson Michael Stenerson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Hagen (Karl) and Janet Peterson (Gordie); his children, Julie Chaffins, John Stenerson (Lori), Jay Stenerson (Emy) of Audubon, MN, Leslie Stenerson (Becky) and Fargo; his grandchildren, Brandon, Nicole, Sarah of Robert, RJ, Cody, Alicia, Izzy, Matt, Aaron, Ashley, Joshua and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Isabella, Michael, Brooke, Amelia, Caleb, Allaina, Thomas, Mila, Chloe, Kennedy, Harper, Brooklyn, Maverick, Waylon and Winona. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
