He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Faus and Margaret Faus; his son Gregg (Anissa) of Littleton, Colorado; his sister Diane Fitzpatrick; his brother-in-law Buck Fitzpatrick; and his father-in-law Floyd Emerson.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Emerson); his sons, Doug (Lisa) of Laramie and Keith (Stephanie) of Lake Park; his stepson Matt (Becca); and his brother Allan (Mary). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
