He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley Quam and Fern Quam (Syvertson); his wife Charlotte Lyngaas Deal (Char); his children, Michelle Mullikin Dilworth (Ryan) and Eric (Jami); his grandchildren, Shelby, Megan Mullikin, Ethan, Dylann, Lauren and Alexa Deal; his siblings, Sandy Marion (Mike), Nancy Hegseth (Frank), Susan Gast, Karen Funk (Daryl) and Randy Quam (Pam); his sisters-in-law, Doris Quam, Cheeri Hestdalen and Brenda Shanders (John); his stepfather Alfred Foyt; his parents-in-law, Mary and Clayton Lyngaas (Bud); his siblings, Robert Quam, Ronald and Mary; and his brothers-in-law, Eugene Gast, Darrel Hestdalen and Larry Lyngaas. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
