With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ordell Odegaard of Moorhead, Minnesota, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Toye Odegaard and Ida Odegaard (Johnson); his son Bradley Odegaard; his parents-in-law, Howard and Virginia Hansen; and his brothers-in-law, Dick Riedberger and Rob Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Odegaard of Moorhead, MN; his children, Matthew Odegaard (Hala Bahment) of Los Angeles, CA and Jill Odegaard (Brian Wiggins) of Allentown, PA; his grandchildren, Sophia Odegaard of Los Angeles, Sawyer Wiggins and Sally Wiggins of Allentown; his siblings, Kathy Riedberger of Moorhead, Betty Wignes (Steve) of Nevis, Roger Odegaard (Jean) of Alexandria, MN and James Odegaard (Melanie) of Hawley; and his siblings-in-law, Laurie Hassell of Roseville, MN, Pam Wirtz of Fargo and Lynn Hansen of Clitherall, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (100 3rd Ave, Nevis, MN 56467). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
