She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Bares and Elfie Bares; her husband Jack; her siblings, Betty Kamps (Henry) and Donald Bares; her son-in-law Robert Ford; her grandson Jess Ford; and her great grandchild Dex Beaton.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Beaton, Fargo, Richard Beaton (Lonni), Shelley Ford, Renee Johnson (Greg) and Joan Lerdahl (Chris) of Eaton Socon, UK; her grandchildren, Melissa Sunde (Brandon), Christopher Ford (Jessica), Ryan Beaton (Brooke), Calvin Johnson (Sarah), Abby Synhorst (Dain), John Beaton (Emily), Zachary Lerdahl, Brianna Lerdahl and Alexander Lerdahl; her great grandchildren, Jack, Taylor, Grace, William, Aiden, Tanner, Rylen, Hope, Audrey, Avery and Nova; and her sister-in-law Kathy Bares. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
