Marvin L. Jacobsen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin L. Jacobsen (Moorhead, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marvin L. Jacobsen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carius Jacobsen (Cy) and Nora Jacobsen (Hoover); and his siblings, Cathaleen Koenig, Darlene Anderson, Raymond and Wayne Jacobsen.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Yvonne Regstad of Georgetown, MN.; his children, Sandy Roman (Dick), Dan Jacobsen (Karen), Dean Jacobsen (Paula) and Gail Greene; his grandchildren, Chad Jacobsen (Kate), Krysta Unhjem (Dave), Rachel Neu (Derek), Sammy Rage (Ben), Parker Jacobsen and Galena Greene; his great grandchildren, Henry Rage, Eloise, Madison Unhjem, Maddux, Oliver Neu and Summer Jacobsen; his sisters, Gladys Wignes, Marlys Winter and Carol Emerson; his brothers-in-law, Lowell Regstad (Shirley), Jerry Regstad and Jim Regstad (Debbie); his in-laws, Paul Koenig, Chuck Anderson, Loren Wignes, Ray Dahl, Jim Winter, Floyd Emerson, Jim Gnoinsky, Arlene Gnoinsky, Sharon Regstad, Leona Jacobsen, Wanda Regstad and Mavis Jacobsen; and his son-in-law Bruce Greene. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christian Life Center in Trinity Lutheran Church (210 7th St S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery - Moorhead (2901 11th St N, Moorhead, MN 56560).
Memorials are preferred to: Trinity Lutheran Church, Hospice of The Red River Valley or a charity of your choice.
