He is survived by: his wife Barbara of Moorhead; his children, Katie Aasness (Pete) of Fergus Falls, MN, Mike Young (Sue) of Reile's Acres, ND, Matt Young (Krista) of Hugo, MN and Jen Brendsel (Dan) of Hinckley, MN; his grandchildren, Connor, Megan (Nathan), Mitch, Liz, Nathan, Maddox, Emerson, Deacon, John, Anna, Elinor and Evangeline; his great grandchild Avery; and his sister Susan Humphrey of Rock Hill, NC..
