With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lowell W. Bennes of Moorhead, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bennes and Cora Bennes (Nornes); his former wife Marlene; his father-in-law Albert Grohs Sr.; and his brother-in-law Edward Nieman.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl; his sons, Eric (Karena Beuter) and Christopher (Julie); his grandson Bjorn; his sister Gayle Nieman; his mother-in-law Shirley Grohs; his brothers-in-law, Albert Grohs Jr. (Marcie), Ken Grohs (Cindy) and Duane Grohs (Lori); and also, Myles Bakken (Shirley) and Cheryl Harms. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
