He was predeceased by: his parent Gladys Tangen; and his brother Robert Tangen. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Eric Tangen (Loralie) of Overland Park, KS, Robert Tangen (ReNae) of Perham, MN, Julie Steen (William) of Dorset, MN and Kirsti Jensen (Mark) of Richfield, MN; and his sisters-in-law, June Tangen of Ankeny, IA and Jean Dutton of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - Moorhead (210 7th St S, Moorhead, MN 56560).
