With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kari Leigh Brantner (Moorhead, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2025 at the age of 40. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kari Leigh Brantner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her grandfather Vernon Peterson; her former husband Andrew Nelson; and her grandparents, Marge Brantner and Casey Brantner. She is survived by: her mother Beth Brantner; her fiancé Dustin Watterud; her sister Katy Peterson; her children, Reece, Maya, Annika and AJ; her half-brother Caleb Brantner (Lacy); her grandmother Donna Peterson; her uncle Mike; her aunt Lynn Brantner; her cousins, Nick Brantner and Madi Muchlinski (Joey); and her close friend Kari Maanum.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home and Cremation Service-Moorhead (605 2nd Ave S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
