She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Fossum and Dagmar Fossum (Jordheim); her husband Gene R. Nicholsen; her grandson Benjamin Thomas Nicholsen; and her brothers-in-law, Leon Nicholsen and Joseph Nicholsen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kristine Nicholsen, Carrie Nicholsen and Katherine Nicholsen; her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Richardt (Joe), Beverly Helgeson (Marlan) and Gregory Jorgenson (Kathy); and her close friends, Nancy Campbell, Mary Swanson and Diana Woodard. She is also survived by two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
