She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Richter and Eunice Richter (Carpenter); her husband Dennis Ruud; her stepmother Elsie Richter; and her siblings, Julane Carter, Gale and Gary Richter.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Ruud (Cindy), Jeff Ruud (Glenda) and Melanie Aaser (Rodney); her grandchildren, Jason Ruud (Erin), Heather Wieland (Brian Breeggemann), Brian Ruud (Liza), Lisa Plath (John) and Matthew Aaser (Sheena); her great grandchildren, Layton, Deven, Morgan, Rylen, Riley, Aedan, Taylen, Brynn, Leo and Sutton; her sister Judy Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Marlys Holubok and Carol Richter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
