He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Marchand and Inez Marchand (Urich); his wife Audrey; and his siblings, Gordon, Vinson, Donna Sorenson, LaVonne Van Amburgh and Sharon Wemstrom. He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, we suggest memorial donations to St Joseph's Church, Hospice of the Red River Valley, or the Parkinson's Foundation.
