He was predeceased by: his parents, James Forness and Ethel "Pinky" Forness; his sisters, Mickey Forness and Caren Hendrickson; and his nephew Ryan Dick Forness.
He is survived by: his children, Leon Walter, Ed Forness Jr. and Victoria Forness; his grandchildren, Kylar Moltzan, McKenna Walter, Natasha Walter, Dylan Forness, Olive Forness, Dayson Forness, Dezzi Sutton and Lucas Sutton; his former wives, Mandy, Rita and Marlys; and his siblings, Deb Priglemeier (Rick), Kathy Forness, Barb Brannam (Chris) and Dave Forness (Wanda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
