He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Bjerke and Alma Bjerke (Thorsvig). He is survived by: his wife Arlene Miller of Moorhead; and his stepchildren, Mara Trygstad (Joel), Michelle Aarsvold (Jon) and Michael Miller (Kyrie Bauske). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
