He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Samuel and Thomas Neisen; his parents, Lee Charles and Edna Louise Carver Sr. (Schmit); his siblings, Jerry Carver and Donna Mae Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, David Jackson and Sandy Carver.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Carver; his children, Kevin Carver (Kathi), Angie Neisen (Chris) and Stacy Furtney (Craig); his grandchildren, Ryan, Grace and Nate Carver; his children, Steffi Williams (Mac), Kenzie Neisen, Megan, Ben and Jake Furtney; his siblings, Eddie Carver, John Carver (Pat) and Carol Jackson; and his brother-in-law Roger Johnson. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Minnesota.
